Terms and Conditions

These terms are the agreement between you and Igboro when you use igboro.com. Please read them. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. Who we are and what this covers

Igboro ("Igboro", "we", "us") runs igboro.com: a place where people build a public page with links, products, bookings, tickets, tips, a blog and ads, and get paid for it. These terms cover the website, your account, your page, and the tools around them.

If you are visiting someone's Igboro page and not creating an account, the privacy, cookie and refunds pages matter most to you.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 to sell, take payments or withdraw money, and at least 13 to have any account. Give us accurate details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account.

Your username is part of your page address. You can change it once every 30 days; the old address redirects to the new one. We may refuse or remove usernames that impersonate someone, are misleading, or break these terms.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or has been used for fraud.

3. Your content

You own what you put on Igboro: your text, images, products and posts. You give us permission to host, display, copy and deliver it as needed to run the service (for example showing your page to visitors and in the creators directory if you are listed).

You promise that you have the right to share what you post, and that it follows our Acceptable Use Policy. We don't review content before it appears, but we may remove content or pages that break the rules or the law.

4. Rules for using Igboro

Use Igboro lawfully and honestly. Do not sell prohibited goods, mislead buyers, harass people, spread malware, scrape the service, or try to bypass fees or security. The full list is in the Acceptable Use Policy.

5. Payments, fees and withdrawals

Buyers pay through Paystack, our payment provider. We take a fee from each sale: 8.5% on the Free plan and 4.5% on Pro. The fee is shown before you sell and is deducted from the sale. We may change fees with notice, and a change doesn't affect sales already made.

The rest of each sale is added to your Igboro balance. You can request a withdrawal to your verified Nigerian bank account. The minimum is ₦2,000. We review withdrawals, normally by the next business day, and may delay or refuse one if we suspect fraud or a legal problem.

You are responsible for delivering what you sell, for your prices, and for any taxes you owe on your earnings.

6. Refunds and disputes

Refunds follow the Refunds and Disputes page. In short: if you cancel a booking or an event, or a booked time is lost, the buyer is refunded in full and the sale is reversed on your balance, including our fee. Where a buyer is allowed to cancel, the window is the one you set.

Igboro is not the seller of goods or services on a creator's page. If a buyer and seller disagree, they should first try to settle it between themselves. We can step in on payment problems, fraud or policy breaches.

7. Pro plan

Pro costs ₦5,000 a month or ₦50,000 a year, charged to your card through Paystack and renewed automatically until you cancel. You can cancel renewal in Dashboard > Plan; Pro then lasts until the end of the period you paid for.

If a renewal fails, Pro keeps working for 7 days while you fix your payment. After that your account returns to Free: nothing is deleted, but Pro features and the lower fee stop. Fees already paid for a period are not refunded unless the law requires it.

8. Ads

Ads are optional and off until the owner turns them on. Every ad is labelled Sponsored, and the page owner approves each one. Advertisers pay in advance and we hold the money. We keep 10% of what an owner earns from an ad. The owner has 72 hours to approve; if an ad is declined or not approved in time, the advertiser is refunded in full. If we remove an ad, the owner is paid for the time it ran and the advertiser is refunded the rest.

Ads must follow the Ad Policy. The smallest share any single page can receive from a network campaign is ₦1,000.

9. Posts, events and bookings

If you publish posts, run events or take bookings you are responsible for them: for their accuracy, for honouring the tickets and appointments you sell, and for cancelling and refunding in line with the rules above. We may remove a post, hide a page or hold a balance when there is a complaint we need to look into.

10. Ending your account

You can delete your account in Dashboard > Settings once your balance is withdrawn and you have no live ads or upcoming bookings and events. We delete your page, products, services, events and notes. We keep payment, payout and ledger records for as long as the law requires.

We may end or limit access to Igboro if you break these terms. Sections that are meant to continue (such as those on money owed, content licences and liability) continue after your account ends.

11. Using the service

We work hard to keep Igboro available but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error free. We may change or remove features, and we will try to give notice of changes that matter to you.

12. Our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, Igboro is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or the actions of buyers, sellers, advertisers or other users. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees we earned from you in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes belong to its courts unless the law gives you another right. We may update these terms; when the change matters we will tell you by email or in the dashboard, and by using Igboro after the date shown you accept the update.
