Refunds and Disputes

Most things you buy on Igboro come from an independent seller or organiser. This page explains what we do automatically and how to get help.

Last updated 9 October 2026

1. Refunds that happen automatically

  • A booked time is lost: if two people try to book the same time and yours can't be kept, you are refunded in full.
  • A seller cancels a booking or an event: you are refunded in full.
  • An order can't be completed because of a payment problem on our side.
  • An ad is declined, not approved in 72 hours, or removed by us: the advertiser is refunded (for a removed ad, the part that had not yet run).

Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with. Paystack can take several days to show them.

2. Cancelling a booking or tickets yourself

Some sellers offer a refund window. If you see "Manage or cancel" on your confirmation, the link in your email lets you cancel inside that window for a full refund. For event tickets this works only if no ticket has been used. If there's no window, or it has passed, please contact the seller.

3. Products and services

Refund and return rules for products and services are set by the seller. Contact them first (their details are on your receipt). If they don't reply or you can't agree, write to hello@igboro.com with your payment reference and we will help where we can, for example with a payment error, a duplicate charge or a fraud concern.

4. Tips and donations

Tips and donations are voluntary gifts to the page owner and are generally not refundable, unless there was a payment error or fraud.

5. If a refund fails

If the payment provider can't complete a refund the first time, we are alerted and retry it. If you haven't seen your money after 7 days, write to hello@igboro.com with your reference.
