1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files saved on your device by a website. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, do the same job. They help a site remember you and see how it is used.
2. What is needed for Igboro to work
- Signing in: when you log in, Igboro (through Firebase Authentication) stores a sign-in token in your browser so you stay signed in. Without it you could not use your dashboard.
- Checkout and forms: your browser may keep short-lived session information while you complete a purchase, booking or ad view. For example, a visitor's browser remembers that an ad has already been counted this session so it isn't counted twice.
These are essential. If you block them, parts of Igboro will not work.
3. Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) on igboro.com pages to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and from which country. It sets cookies and sends information to Google. We do not use it on the dashboard, admin, sign-in or sign-up pages.
Igboro also keeps its own simple visit counts for the owner of each page (views, link taps, country, referring site). These do not use cookies to follow you around the web.
4. Your choices
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. Blocking essential storage may stop you signing in.
We don't use advertising cookies to track you across other websites. Ads on Igboro pages are sold by page owners and are not personalised using your browsing history.
