Questions about ads

Will ads appear on my page without me knowing?

Never. Ads are off until you switch them on, and every single ad waits for your approval before it appears. You can decline any ad.

When do I get paid?

The advertiser pays upfront and Igboro holds the money. When the ad has finished running it's added to your balance, minus Igboro's 10% commission, and you can withdraw it like any other earnings.

What if an ad is declined or never approved?

The advertiser is refunded in full. Owners have 72 hours to approve; after that the ad is declined and refunded automatically.

What can't be advertised?

Adult content, gambling and betting, scams and get-rich-quick schemes, and illegal goods. Every ad is labelled Sponsored and Igboro can remove any ad at any time. Read the full ad policy.

How do advertisers choose where to appear?

They can buy a slot on one page at the owner's rate, send an offer the owner can accept or counter, or set a budget and audience and let Igboro spread it over matching pages.

What does it cost to advertise?

Owners set their own rates. Network campaigns start from any budget that gives each page at least ₦1,000.
